The story
Present Agent is the studio's working hypothesis about consumer agentic commerce: an AI agent that does the gift research a thoughtful friend would, then hands you five candidates with a reason for each. It's pitched at one specific audience — adults with ADHD, who consistently report gift-giving as a major executive-function tax — and built on a 171K-product enriched catalog (82K+ verified on Shopify). The recommendations come from a two-stage pipeline: Gemini Flash extracts a recipient profile in 2–3 conversational turns, then Claude Sonnet scores Shopify-verified products against that profile and returns five cards, each annotated with why it fits.
