Terminal Commerce Channel
A Shopify sales channel, native to the terminal
A Shopify channel app and hosted MCP endpoint that lets terminal-native AI agents discover a merchant's approved products and prepare a checkout — only after a person confirms. Payment always completes in Shopify; the terminal never collects it.
Live demo
A whole purchase, prepared in the terminal — authorized by you.
A real agent session over the channel’s MCP endpoint. The agent searches approved products, builds the cart, and stops — the checkout only continues once a person confirms, inside Shopify.

The story
Terminal Commerce Channel is the studio's bet on where buying goes next: customers increasingly live inside AI assistants, so a merchant's catalog should be a first-class sales channel there — without surrendering the checkout. It pairs a Shopify channel app with a hosted, merchant-scoped MCP endpoint. Terminal-native agents — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor — call product search, build carts, and request a checkout handoff, but nothing is ever bought silently: the checkout URL stays hidden until a person confirms, and payment always completes in Shopify-hosted checkout, so the terminal never sees a card. The merchant decides which products agents may recommend, every request is recorded as an allowed or blocked safety event, and agent tokens rotate in one click. The principle underneath all of it is the product: trust beats speed — the agent prepares, the person authorizes. Currently in a free, design-partner private beta.
What it does
01
MCP-native endpoint
A hosted, merchant-scoped MCP endpoint exposes product search, carts, and checkout prep to any MCP-compatible agent.
02
Checkout stays in Shopify
Payment always completes in Shopify-hosted checkout. The terminal never collects a card, and no sale happens without a person saying yes.
03
Merchant control
Decide which products or collections agents may recommend. Blocked products are never shown; the default is all active products.
04
Catalog readiness
Pre-flight every product for the data an agent needs — title, price, image, availability — before it goes live to agents.
05
Channel evidence
Trace terminal session → cart → checkout → attributed order. All merchant-safe: no payment data, PII, or raw tokens.
06
Revocable tokens
Agent endpoint tokens are scoped, local to the client, and rotate in one click. Shopify secrets stay on the server.
